The frequency converter includes general frequency converter and vector frequency converter. However, both converters can be used, but the two converters are still different. Next, we will give you an analysis, and you will know why the performance of vector converter is higher than that of ordinary converter.
There are two differences between vector frequency converter and ordinary frequency converter. The first is high control accuracy, and the second is high torque at low speed. It can output 150% - 200% of the rated torque. Vector frequency conversion is to decompose the motor current into D-axis current and O-axis current. The D-axis current is the excitation current, and the axis current is the torque current. By separating and controlling d and 0, the motor can obtain greater starting torque. It shall be applied to the site station started by heavy load. For example, high-power long belt, elevator, etc. At this time, if ordinary frequency converter is selected, the load is too heavy and the output torque is insufficient when starting, and the motor cannot be started, the fault such as motor blockage or converter overcurrent will be reported.
The common pump can be controlled by blower pump type or common type. There is no need to select vectors. The price is different. About parameter settings, they are all similar. There is no difference.
For example, vector control is also called speed control. " Literally, we can see some differences
V/F control mode: It is equivalent to keeping the throttle of the foot unchanged while driving, and the speed must be changing at this time! The road is uneven, so the resistance of the road is also changing. The speed will slow down on the way up and speed up on the way down, right? For the frequency converter, your frequency setting corresponds to the dog of the throttle when you drive, and the dog of the throttle when you control V/F.
Vector control method: the vehicle speed can be kept constant according to road changes, resistance changes, uphill and downhill changes, and the speed control accuracy can be improved. So, no matter how the uphill, downhill and road resistance changes, in order to keep the speed unchanged, the opening of the throttle must be adjusted at any time. is it? Just said: the speed setting value is equivalent to the throttle opening, and the setting value does not change. How does the accelerator dog change and adjust at any time with the road resistance?
In fact, if the control method is selected as vector control, the CPU inside the converter will enable this special function! Through the feedback of motor current change and the program formula of CPU internal solidification, the internal PID regulator of CPU can increase or decrease the opening and closing of some accelerators (engine inflow) according to the opening of existing accelerators.
Therefore, on the surface, the opening degree of the accelerator will not change when there is V/F control and vector control, but in fact, the opening degree of the accelerator will not change when there is V/F control, and the actual opening degree of the accelerator will change when there is vector control (adjust up and down according to the original opening degree of the accelerator). In this way, the vehicle speed can be kept as constant as possible.
